A distinguished client in the luxury asset brokerage industry is seeking experienced and dynamic Sales Executives for their new fine wine and spirits store opening in Knightsbridge, London, in summer 2024. This client specializes in empowering individuals to build wealth through acquiring prestigious assets, including timepieces, art, luxury handbags, coins, wine, and whisky.

Job Description:

As part of their strategic growth plan, our client is launching a luxury spirit and wine store and is looking for ambitious and charismatic Sales Executives. This store will be located in the affluent area of Knightsbridge, London, and will offer a range of premium spirits, fine wines, and liqueurs. Whisky casks, a major element of the client's portfolio, will also feature prominently.

Position Overview:

The Sales Executives will work closely with the Assistant Manager and General Manager to uphold the store's reputation for exceptional customer service and promote a premium range of single malt whiskies, spirits, fine wines, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised and attentive service to customers, offering expert product knowledge and recommendations tailored to their preferences.
  • Assist in maintaining the store's luxurious atmosphere and high visual merchandising standards, ensuring all products are presented elegantly and attractively.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and other forms of payment with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, answer enquiries, and address any concerns or feedback they may have.
  • Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, including restocking shelves, organising displays, and conducting regular stock checks.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant Manager and General Manager to execute in-store tastings, events, and promotions, contributing to the overall success of marketing initiatives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and competitor activities to enhance customer interactions and sales opportunities.
  • Ensure exceptional standards of housekeeping on and off the shop floor.

Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in luxury retail or hospitality, preferably within the wine and spirits industry.
  • Strong passion for and knowledge of fine wines, champagne, spirits, and whisky, with a desire to continuously learn and expand expertise.
  • WSET Level 3 or above in Wine and/or Spirits is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to accommodate the needs of the business.

Additional Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
