Regional Sales Manager - Manufacturing

UK based – EMEA territory

£60,000 – 70,000 + Bonus + Car + Full benefits package

A leading global manufacturing business is seeking a consultative and ambitious Regional Sales Manager. This exciting new role is pivotal to the company's growth across the UK and Europe. Collaborating closely with the Global Sales Director, you will drive business expansion by targeting the manufacturing, engineering, and OEM sectors, as well as their channel partner network.

Key Responsibilities

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing New Customers and Markets: Identify opportunities for growth by evaluating potential customers and markets. Assist in the development and introduction of new products.
  • Developing Customer Relationships: Build and nurture new customer relationships through prospecting, face-to-face meetings, and sales presentations.
  • Driving Business Growth: Identify and qualify new business opportunities to contribute to the company's revenue and profit objectives.
  • Implementing Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals and maintain existing accounts.
  • Expanding Customer Relationships: Establish and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers at various levels within their organizations.
  • Managing Sales Leads: Follow up on sales leads to convert them into successful business transactions.
  • Preparing Sales Strategies and Forecasts: Create annual customer plans, sales strategies, and forecast future sales to ensure sustained growth.
  • Handling Technical and Commercial Inquiries: Address technical and commercial questions from current and potential customers with expertise and confidence.

Successful Candidate Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Field Sales Experience: At least 2 years of field sales experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively and organize tasks efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ability to plan ahead, manage time effectively, and prioritize workloads.
  • Motivation and Drive: Highly motivated and driven to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and proactive approach to challenges.
  • Team Player: Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work remotely and travel as required.
