Our client is on the hunt for motivated and proactive recent graduates to drive the growth of their fully funded solar PV offering. This role is your chance to be at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution, specializing in Solar PV solutions. They have already helped organisations such as the NHS, Hilton Hotels, Hallmark Hotels, and the Celtic Manor to achieve their net-zero goals!

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and chase new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
  • Build and sustain a pipeline of prospective clients.

Market Research and Strategy:

  • Conduct in-depth market research to spot opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
  • Assist in crafting and executing strategic sales plans to hit company growth targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Forge and foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored renewable energy solutions.

Proposal Development and Presentation:

  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the Sales Director and team to align with business objectives.
  • Partner with the technical team to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Recent graduate with a degree in STEM, Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for sales and commitment to net-zero emissions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Macclesfield HQ and client sites.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience or internships in sales, business development, or renewable energy.
  • Knowledge of solar technologies and market dynamics.
