Sales Engineer – HVAC / Building Management Systems

Around £45,000 + £500 car allowance + bonus + benefits

East Midlands base

This job will give you the client base, product range, exposure and training you need to really supercharge your career trajectory. And all with a leading international manufacturer in the HVAC and Building Automation fields.

You’ll be providing specifiers, end users and contractors with the technical expertise they need to plan and create control systems that include highly sophisticated, multi-site, networked solutions.

For you it means great technical variety and experience, as well as the opportunity to become the go-to sales engineer for some really big hitters in the industry.

You won’t be chained to the desk. In fact, you’ll spend about 60% of your time on-site with customers across UK and Eire, or with colleagues in the company’s European R&D and manufacturing centres.

It isn’t all technical. You’ll have your own customer portfolio to support and develop, along with a role in new business and in assisting the general manager with sales planning and market development.

So, what are we looking for? Here are the essential requirements…

• Degree or HND qualified in a relevant technical discipline, such as HVAC systems, mech eng or electronics
• Solid technical sales experience, gained specifying components for HVAC, building management, renewable energy or metering systems
• Someone who really enjoys working with customers and has the all-round ability to deliver great results for them
• The willingness to travel with the job from the company’s East Midlands base
