Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Executive required to join a global manufacturer of machine tool accessories and precision tools such as tool holders, measuring instruments, shrinking technology and cutting tools as well as other products used in manufacturing and precision engineering.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will be based in the South East of England, you will cover the entire South East of England as well as further travel if necessary. You will be based on patch and come from a background selling into the precision engineering / manufacturing industry (including Aerospace, Automotive, Machine Tools, Machining, Defence, etc).
The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have a mechanical engineering qualification / apprentice trained with experience selling engineering products, CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders, cutting tools or similar engineering products used within a CNC / Machining environment.
Package
£40,000 - £55,000 Depending on experience
Between 0.5% and 2% commission on each sale

Role
Covering the South East of England, managing and developing accounts within the precision engineering / manufacturing industry (including Aerospace, Automotive, Machine Tools, Machining, Defence, etc).
Selling a range of products of machine tools and precision tools such as tool holders, measurement instruments, shrinking technology and cutting tools. Mainly focusing on tool clamping and milling technology.
Identifying and acquiring new market potential.
Liaise with the internal and external sales team.
Selling to OEM's
Visits to exhibitions and trade shows
Travel will be required throughout the South East of England with further travel required when necessary
Requirements
Experience as a Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Executive within engineering.
A mechanical engineering sales background selling engineering products, CNC machine tools / machining accessories, metrology, CMM's, measuring instruments, shrinking technology, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, tool holders, cutting tools or similar engineering products used within a CNC / Machining environment.
An engineering qualification or apprentice trained in engineering will be advantageous
Must have a Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel across the South East of England with further travel required when necessary.
