Business Development Manager - Distribution and Transport

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car Allowance/Company Car

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Manage your Own Diary

My client is offering a fantastic package to help develop their business in the Distribution Sector. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK or Ireland based Freight Forwarder/Distribution Company and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Distribution, Road Freight/Transport and the Pallet Network.

Key Responsibilities:

• To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent distribution and road transport services.
• To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
• Be the forefront of the companies' development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.

Requirements:

• Freight Forwarding/Distribution Sales / Business Development Manager Experience is Essential.
• Experience working for a Freight Forwarding or Road Transport company.
• Knowledge and experience within Distribution, Road Transport and the Pallet Network is desirable.
• Hold a full, clean, UK or EU driving licence.
