You’ll be the sales dynamo propelling this company to new heights. As the Business Development Director, your playground spans the entire globe. 

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves more than just crunching numbers and making calls. It's about crafting and executing a master plan that aligns with some ambitious goals.

Where is it?

You can be based anywhere in the UK for this role, as long as you're happy to visit the Essex HQ each week. So it's likely that you'll want to be based around the South East.

Ready to jet-set around the world? Good, because international travel is on the agenda.

What you'll be doing:

You will dive deep into market research. Identifying emerging trends and new business opportunities is your thing. 

Driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients is where you’ll shine. Sealing the deal on strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures.

Keeping a keen eye on financial performance, you’ll provide commercial insights that pave the way for business improvement.

What you will bring to the table: 

Ideally you will hold a degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or something equally relevant. An MBA? Even better.

You should have at least 10 years of business development under your belt, ideally within a product design-for-manufacture / distribution type environment.

With a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, in similar SME / start-up companies. Plus, experience of navigating global markets is really important here.

You should have a track record of driving revenue and market expansion, with expertise in market research and financial analysis.

You'll understand the complexities of global markets and cultural nuances, with the ability to flex and pivot your plans when market conditions change.

Salary is truly up for discussion based on your skills and experience: this is all about getting the right person for the job.
