Account Manager

UK Wide – remote role but requirement to attend office once every 2 weeks in Banbury or Romsey

Competitive salary: £40-£70k basic + commission structure (depending on experience)

We're seeking a talented and charismatic Account Manager to join our sales department and drive growth in our Fibre and Network services sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to optimize profitability.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide clear communication of monthly/quarterly initiative progress to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with both new and existing clients to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on account status.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as necessary.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven track record of success in roles such as Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or similar.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outstanding listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
