Due to remarkable growth, we are now on the hunt for an experienced Groups and Events Travel Consultant to join a highly successful travel company that offer a range of travel services across the globe to clients.

This exciting role is ideal for an experienced Travel Consultant from a leisure or business travel background with a passion for events seeking career development.

Groups and Events Travel Consultant Duties:

• Making individual and group bookings (air, rail, hotels) and all ground travel
• arrangements liaising with appropriate DMCs.
• Putting together client proposals ensuring that proposals are relevant,  accurate, commercially viable and stand out.
• Demonstrating fantastic destination knowledge.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Maintenance of ongoing client relationships.

Groups and Events Travel Consultant – Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience of working for a tour operator, travel agency or within business travel.
• Strong GDS knowledge such as Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo.
• Knowledge of complex fare routings.
• Excellent geographical knowledge/personal travel experience
• Experience within flight/rail booking, conferences, incentives and/or
• summer/winter parties.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• IT savvy – you are competent in using the full range of Microsoft Office products
