The Role

Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Location: Shoreditch, London (hybrid)

Remuneration: £45,000 OTE with uncapped commission

We are looking to grow our sales team with sales professionals who will be integral to helping Cledara grow and become a leader in the SaaS management space. This is an opportunity for ambitious people who want to have a direct impact on the future of a venture-backed fintech startup. 

We're on the lookout for dynamic, adaptable team players passionate about hunting new business and introducing our unique product, helping businesses uncover complexities and unnecessary costs in their current SaaS management process. Our ideal candidates thrive in a sales-driven environment and possess high-performance standards to exceed monthly targets and progress within the team. 

The role of the SDR is to drive the top of the funnel by proactively sourcing companies across the US, UK and Europe before engaging these prospective businesses via calls, emails, and personalised videos. As an SDR, your goal is to create interest and cultivate relationships, enabling our Account Executive team to guide your prospects into becoming valued additions of our quickly expanding customer base.

As an SDR at Cledara you will:

  • Source Ideal Customer Profile companies across the US, UK, and Europe and deliver relevant content to prospects
  • Book outbound meetings through a combination of cold calls, emails, and social outreach
  • Engage with prospects (C-suite/Finance leaders) and articulate the product in an effective manner
  • Generate and manage sales pipeline; maintain impeccable admin and update all activity in Salesforce
  • Establish trusting relationships with key stakeholders
  • Lead efforts in building sustainable processes and procedures
  • Maintain a positive mindset as an adaptable team player
  • Ensure a proactive approach to learning

Requirements

We are looking for:

  • A passion for sales with 6+ months experience in a relevant role.
  • A can-do, agile attitude is necessary to thrive in a start-up environment.
  • The ability to articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, curious, with evidence of overachievement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as emotional intelligence.
  • Willingness to learn core technology tools i.e. Salesforce, SalesLoft & Zoominfo
  • Good time-management and organisational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above (desirable).
